Deb Karpfinger is The Flower Lady and one of Metro-Milwaukee's best-known and most-respected florists. She and her top-notch team turn out unbelievably gorgeous arrangements from her Wauwatosa shop which is simply called, The Flower Lady. The store is a wonderland of tantalizing flowers, plants and gifts and has become a Mecca for those who love high quality flowers and artistic arrangement.

Deb’s love of flowers and nature was inspired by her Grandmother Phyllis. She truly expressed her love of life by reveling in nature’s details: wispy clouds, mushrooms on the forest floor, gorgeous garden flowers, and of course the fruits and vegetables she raised each summer. She truly found happiness in the beauty of nature.

After a MIAD Fine Arts degree and working in graphic design, Deb Karpfinger found her true calling as one of Milwaukee’s most creative floral designers, opening her store, The Flower Lady, in 1994.

The shop’s name came easily, as neighbors had dubbed her “The Flower Lady” because of her vivacious, front-yard gardens. The name felt right as her Grandmother had been a “flower lady” and Deb was too.

In addition to running her busy shop, Deb contributes to the community through coaching soccer for 8 years and plays soccer as well. She is married to Chuck Karpfinger, a long-time area Realtor®, and has two children who occasionally help in the shop.

Her gardens have won awards, her design talent and store have been featured in The Milwaukee Home Magazine, Wisconsin Bride Magazine, The Milwaukee Art Museum, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, WTMJ Channel 4, Channel 12 and has been a guest speaker at numerous clubs, events, and The Boston Store.

Her successful Wauwatosa store is a full-service florist serving all of Metro Milwaukee with daily deliveries and delivers to cities worldwide through Teleflora.

In addition to flowers, her shop also sells green and blooming plants, a wide selection of greeting cards and unique gift items.

She and her gracious staff pride themselves in giving superb customer service while arranging gorgeous flowers for all of life’s occasions, big and small, including Corporate Events, Weddings, Funerals, Holidays…
